On 8 September 2026, a discussion on brain injury rehabilitation  took place in the Committee Room 21 at the House of Commons (UK). This discussion was a follow up to the initial discussion event held in October 2018.

KBIF at the ASSBI/NZSIGN Conference – May 2026

The Australian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment (ASSBI) held its first joint international conference with the New Zealand Special Interest Group in Neuropsychology (NZSIGN) in Christchurch, New Zealand, in May 2026.

In March 2026, the Kent Brain Injury Forum (KBIF) took part in the Neuro Rehab Conference at the Birmingham NEC, bringing together healthcare professionals and specialists to share knowledge and developments in neurological rehabilitation and brain injury care.

12th Kent Brain Injury Conference – November 2025

The 12th Kent Regional Brain Injury Conference took place at the University of Kent on 7 November 2025, bringing together professionals and organisations from across the brain injury sector. Chaired by Dr Mohamed Sakel, the conference covered key topics including neurorehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, the new NICE guideline, neurorobotics, community rehabilitation, concussion and neuropsychiatry.

2018 Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Discussion at Westminster
